Hi, I am Hannah Zyk.

Photography has always played a role in my life. I remember as a young girl, my friend and I would go al kinds of places (i.e. train trusses, old houses, woods, etc. ) and just take pictures of one another and have fun editing them later. I remember I would run around the barnyard just looking for anything to capture a picture of. Most of the time, it was a picture of flowers, trees, animals, or the sunset. It was something I loved to do. I look back on those pictures now, interested in my thought processes behind the photo. That's the real thing for me. I want to know: Why was the photo taken? What was the photographer trying to portray? What emotion(s) are behind the photo? Does the photo tell a story? It is definitely the little things in life!

I want to capture images so those that are in them can remember; those that see them can wonder.
